A breathtaking renovation of a 1990's home in Signal Hill. The most significant challenge in this renovation was integrating the support column backing onto the kitchen, which was essential to the structure. We designed a feature wall to incorporate the supporting post into the open concept space,  emphasizing the vaulted ceiling and elevating the design aesthetic . We also re-oriented the fireplace, taking it from the corner of the family room, into the centre, allowing for a better flow and optimal furniture arrangement. This contemporary aesthetic features white oak and matte black custom cabinetry, dark stained faux beams, and a striking balance of contrast and warmth.
